She Listened to Her Heart – and Found Love

Summary

A person meditating for a while attended Denver 2021 retreat and during meditation experienced a really lucid moment where they were holding someone's hand on a beach with a child, seeing the child's face clearly and never forgetting the touch sensed in that hand but couldn't see the other person's face; coming out of meditation their heart told them they were ready to create love in their life. They dove into New York dating scene and in 4 months dated about 100 people, going from feeling insecure to feeling confident despite it being exhausting and full of insecurity and fear of rejection, but their heart gave very clear signs of who's right and who's not. Their intention was very clear - only wanted a conscious relationship with 3 things on their list: beautiful gorgeous man, very excited about change and not afraid, and great chef (rest left to universe to surprise them); they kept walking away from situations that seemed really attractive but heart said "this is not for us" which was really tough sometimes to walk away from really promising men, but they felt confident that when heart said "this is it" they'd know. Tired of dating they stopped, swiping left on the last 12 people on the app and just letting it be; out of nowhere one day somebody texted from those last 12, they met on a date without trying (she wasn't even ready), he changed his mind at last minute almost not coming but his intuition said "if you don't go today you'll be making a mistake." When he walked into the room where she sat with a friend, time stopped for a bleep, her friend said "I think that's your date," and they sat there for 4 hours. They realized this Divine planning had been in the works since 2020 when they first got divorced, creating this future by constantly changing themselves and believing in themselves - the lucid dream was manifestation of change already created till that time, holding onto that vision but never seeing who the person was in the dream. When they met now-husband Peter they knew very quickly they were in love which was different and difficult coming from a past relationship that didn't work, having to work further on themselves to not let fear make choices, not let any feeling other than love speak. Married now for 2 years it is the conscious relationship they really wanted; the more they overcame their own fear and baggage/trauma from past relationship, the more they could let their heart lead and listen to that one voice saying "go in this way" while cutting through noise of other voices (despite best intentions) saying doubts. They emphasize: "if you believe, behave, and become what you seek, how could you not get exactly that."
