He ‘Let it Happen’ – and Surrendered to Healing
Summary
A man was hit in the side of the head with a steel metal bar at work in April 2018, causing traumatic brain injury as his brain ricocheted off the other side creating most pain on his right side, leading to complications including ventilator breathing, seizures, walking difficulty, requiring full-time home care with his daughter taking care classes, becoming psychotic requiring 10 days in a hospital safe room, and being told he would never drive again. His Oklahoma neurologist said he wouldn't get proper care there and should move to California for UCLA medical treatment, so within 10 days they moved and he began seeing multiple doctors in rapid succession while his wife attended Santa Monica beach Saturday meditation group and brought him along just to get out of the house. He would sit in a beach wheelchair listening to his radio instead of meditating until one day deciding to listen to the meditations, then receiving a foundation grant trip to Cancun which became more important than the vacation itself as he learned new meditation and breathing techniques before being honored as a healee. During his third healing after deciding to completely open up and let whatever happens happen, he felt ants crawling up his legs, his butt went numb, felt three fingers pushing into the top of his head with something happening, and when the session ended he got up and pushed his wheelchair away without thinking, walking from then on. His family saw a light go on in his eyes saying their old dad was back, and at his first advanced course without needing to relearn breathing basics, he appreciates learning to breathe better and hopes for more healing, recommending others look into it even if they don't think it's their thing since it completely changed his life.
