She Let Go of the Past – and Instantly Healed a 20-Year Trauma

Summary

Athlete and mother of four (including 6-year-old triplets) who in triathlon biking portion got hit by another biker who felt his body heat, fell knowing badly injured, but he turned around, looked at her scraping on pavement, and didn't stop - vision that stayed with her 20 years. EMTs wanted hospital but she said no, got his number, helped back on bike, finished race last (didn't care, had his number, turned him in). Had 70% detached shoulder, 70% detached labrum, torn bicep, torn deltoid, other injuries. Dr. Hawkins in Vail put her back together over a year but knew athletic life changed. With four kids (triplets age 6), sat on ground unable to pick them up for years, learned to do things believing she was healed, making it acceptable, continued life even playing golf. Realized she was victim after attending Dr. Joe's Denver workshop (May 2022) - girlfriend asked if she heard of Dr. Joe. Hearing about victim mentality, realized that was her whole life. Turned around looking at cars on A1A, realized looking at exact spot where fell 20 years ago. Chill went through whole body, realized "you're gone, no longer significant to me" - number faded, vision faded, pain faded, just another spot on A1A. Instant healing of 20-year injury and victim mentality.
