Summary

Woman went blind at age 8 from encephalitis which caused severe optic nerve scarring and damage, with hundreds of doctors over the years telling her "too bad, nothing can be done." For her entire life she had no depth perception, very small field of vision, and no peripheral vision in her right eye, unable to see on the side at all, only seeing shadows and colors (described as seeing the world "flat"). During a walking meditation at an event, halfway through she decided to "just walk with purpose and walk like a person that can see," got so wrapped up in the action that she forgot about herself and couldn't remember the rest until reaching the end, and when walking back she could see the trees "not flat," see her hand clearly, and had depth perception for the first time. Dr. Joe explained she "walked right into her future self," unified with the unified field, overcame her limited self to join her greater self, "lost herself in nothing" and became somebody else, receiving a biological upgrade simply by making up her mind and getting so involved in the act that she forgot about space and time.
