She Stopped Looking Outside for Answers – and Healed Autoimmune Disease

Summary

Since age 12 experienced autoimmune disease where body did not recognize connection cells and was eating them inside, especially joints, tremendous pain during growth, pregnancy with three kids. In 2013, oldest daughter, grandma, mom, and father all passed away within four months, woke up with half of upper body not working and unable to walk. Doctors said it was trauma disconnection between mind and body, needed physical therapy and psychologist. In 2018 attended first Progressive event in wheelchair, realized she relied on everything outside and needed to look within. In 2020 had five surgeries on both shoulders, right hip, and sacrum, committed to daily practice reading, listening, and meditating every morning for two years. September 2023, all 14 DNA tests for autoimmune disease came back negative after being positive since age 12, no longer on hormones, shots, or chemotherapy.
