Summary

Living in a spiritual community in Minas Gerais, Brazil, she discovered Dr. Joe online and attended events in Peru and Niagara Falls, getting deeply into the work. In June 2020 during the pandemic, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and instead of asking "why me?" she said "this is for something, I have to go deeper." She got special permission from the US embassy and flew to Houston, crashing at her niece's house. After the diagnosis was confirmed, she refused treatment initially to keep doing the work, attending every Dr. Joe event starting November 2020. In December she went through surgery, and when doctors insisted on chemo, she made the difficult decision to refuse it despite all her family being very mad at her, choosing instead to keep creating her new life and believing in herself. She couldn't find a doctor for cancer markers testing for months until July/August when she decided she was done staying in a city where she had no one who spoke "the same language" (the work), threatening to return to Venezuela. The next day she found a person who connected her to a doctor and invited her to a "God's house" that was "like Dr. Joe but with Jesus." Five months later, the doctor did cancer marker tests and she is completely free of cancer. In the last 15 days she manifested a boyfriend on the same path and thinks she's getting engaged. Additionally, the US government gave Venezuelans the unprecedented opportunity to stay with legal status, so she was able to remain in the US, and she inspires others that you can find love and change your life at any age.
