Diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands 10 years ago along with osteoarthritis, her symptoms were so severe she couldn't use her hands, particularly her right hand, and the pain would radiate all the way up to her neck, affecting C6 and C7 with nerve compression that would numb her arm, requiring emergency room visits for injections.
