Summary

A mother pregnant with her second son received test results showing alpha-fetoprotein levels seven times elevated indicating probable spina bifida, with medical professionals recommending termination within a two-week window, but she decided against the world's advice to continue the pregnancy. After extensive testing showed improving survival chances and a complicated long labor resulting in her meconium baby being rushed to NICU with tubes everywhere, they spent a week in NICU and at 31 days home she realized he had severe head-to-toe eczema causing constant pain, burning, fluid loss and barely any sleep for either of them, with thoughts becoming very dark watching him suffer. She pursued every solution including dermatologists, pediatricians, naturopaths, elimination diets, homeopathy, Tibetan doctors, Ayurvedic practitioners and acupuncturists, with her poked and prodded child remaining very small, in agonizing pain for hours, and experiencing intense leg cramps requiring pain medication, leading her to seek past life answers at a health conference where she attended Dr. Joe's one-hour 2014 keynote that shifted something inside her. After a progressive workshop where more shifted but no major life changes yet, she attended the 2015 Arizona event where during a meditation toward the end she embodied the work and her son's life started changing as she dropped everything and declared him healed, consistently feeling whole herself without lack rather than trying to make him feel whole. Since then life has been rewarding without experiencing lack, her now-ten-year-old son has no allergies and eats everything normally, and she emphasizes to mothers that the day they start feeling whole their child will heal, having released the immense guilt, trauma and self-blame she carried about her sins causing his suffering through countless sleepless delirious nights, now very grateful and humbled by this work.
